Large-scale Cargo Movement

In December of last year, we completed a large-scale movement of heavy-duty industrial equipment to Pakistan. The consignment was made up of several wooden export cases, each custom made to house a specific piece of machinery. Having been received into our Burnham-on-Crouch warehouse, each piece of equipment was placed onto a softwood base (complete with bespoke saddle supports). A complex set of internal battens held the cargo in place and secured it for transport. After completing the manufacture of the wooden case, they were stowed (by crane) to a flat-rack. Having loaded the flat-rack in accordance with international shipping standards, the equipment left our premises on its way to Quetta, Pakistan.
